I think OS is such a vast subject that no book alone is sufficient. But, i will say this book is a must even if you know nothing about OS. Author explained everything in such a simple and lucid language which makes it very easy to understand the concepts. If one wants to learn internals of any OS specifically UNIX, this book is where you need to start.
