About the author (2011)

Fred Hoffman, M.Ed., the recipient of the 2007 IDEA Fitness Instructor of the Year Award, is the International Education Development Director for Batuka. Originally from the United States, Hoffman has been living in Paris, France, since 1989. With 30 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, Hoffman’s enthusiasm and expertise has taken him to nearly 50 countries on six continents to present at conferences and conventions, teach workshops, conduct staff training, and provide consulting services.
