This is a great reference for the basis of tribal policy and federal Indian law. Pevar does a great job explaining some of the most difficult material using language which anyone can understand. I definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a reference book for Indian policy. Read full review

Review: The Rights of Indians and Tribes: The Authoritative ACLU Guide to Indian and Tribal Rights, Third Edition

I had to read this for my Native American Literature class (though there is zero literature in this). It was very wordy, but at the same time quite informative. It's amazing what you don't learn in elementary and high schools about Native American history. Read full review
