I am a huge fan of this series!! And I finished the whole anime but never the manga... Anyways, this one is the best because it centers around Stein a lot! And he's my Favorite character next to Excalibur and Maka!!! I also like this series because it has a female main protagonist, and that's not the type of hero you see everyday!!! I also LOVE the artwork and unique variety of character personalities, designs, and interests!!!! Especially Death the Kid, he's very unique; I mean, you don't exactly read books with symmetry obsessed characters all the time! And Stein's interests are also pretty cool, and who would imagine King Arthur's sword Excalibur being an adorable but obnoxious mouse!!! (His eyes remind me of Keroro Gunso for some strange reason) IN A TOP HAT!!!!! And... Involved with Sherlock Holmes and dating women??? ... A mouse dating women... That sounds pretty weird.... Anyways, I rate not only this single volume, but also the entire series, my second favorite Manga/Anime!!! (My first is Fullmetal Alchemist) If you enjoy this series though, you really should read Fullmetal Alchemist! A lot of people say its similar to Soul Eater... And I mostly agree! After all, the main character turns his hand into a blade! See the concept? But 4 final words: THESE BOOKS ARE AWESOME!!!!!!
