About the author (2011)

Formerly a teacher of composition and Renaissance literature, he currently writes and edits technical documentation for a large software company and has edited numerous volumes of theory and conversation about comics illustration. He wrote Modern Masters Volume 15: Mark Schultz from TwoMorrows Publishing and is working on a novel, The Night's Tale.

David Hutchison, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education, Brock University. He is the author of Playing to Learn: Video Games in the Classroom (Teacher Ideas Press, 2007). David's video game articles have appeared in Electric Playground, GameInformer, GameSpot, Gamasutra/Serious Games Source, TeamXbox, and other publications.
