Born to Run by Christopher McDougall and his adventures to find and understand the lost tribe of the Tarahumara. Being an experienced journalist, McDougall uses his resourcefulness to discover the secrets of these long distance runners and the history of mankind and running in general. McDougall runs across the most interesting characters known to man including white horse, a mysterious gringo living and interacting with the Tarahumara, and Mexican cartels encroaching on the tribe’s land.
