This book was a truly open and realistic novel about a young girl who makes bad choices and has to face consequences because of that. I got this book today and finished it today! My only complaint is the ending leaves the reader wanting to know what happens next to poor Annie. Read full review

About the author (1998)

Beatrice Sparks is a family and adolescent therapist who edited the diary that formed the basis for Go Ask Alice, and has since edited many diaries on topics such as gangs, AIDS, and teen pregnancy in the 1988 Annie's Baby. She lives in Provo, UT.
