I bought this for a friend. I loved this book so much. It has been made in to a movie by Hallmark but the movie did not portray it as well. I think Nicole Kidman should be the main character and Meryle Streep as her traveling campanion. See who you think should be these tough ladies. Read full review

I loved this book. There was not a thing about it that I didn't love. I could picture it all in my head as I read. It was full of history but it had a beautiful story and I can truthfully say that I enjoyed every page. I did not get bored with any of it. I have had the book for some time but just put it aside and never read it but I finally set down one day and started it and hated to put it down. Thank you for a wonderful read.
