Outstanding midlevel review of the major (and a few minor but historically important) religions of the world. Well written, 2 volume set ~ 550 total pages; old form biblography. Very good summary level and fair treatment of all subjects addressed. Some terms are now arcane but extreamly useful in understanding the belief framework for these religions. Not a difficult read.
