The author has made nice efforts but some of them were disgusting and using dirty mind is not the way to 'Historicalise' the religious texts. Very shameful. There are multiple occasions where this author has added his imagination. Just adding dates and making every dirty is not called writing history!

Dates given by author may be questionable but chronological sequence of kings and dynasties before Buddha is given in good detail. If some one wants to understand pre-Buddha political history, this is a good book.
