"From the King Eternal to Adam" explores the earliest reaches of biblical history by examining the period preceding the creation of Adam through the lens of Scripture and material culture. Building on prior chronological work, this study moves beyond genealogical "paper trails" to consider how the natural world and archaeological evidence may harmonize with the biblical account. It begins with the eternal nature of God and addresses key questions surrounding creation, including the meaning of the "six days," the relationship between divine revelation and creative activity, and whether Scripture speaks directly to the age of the earth. The book evaluates major creation models-young earth, old earth, and alternative frameworks-while arguing that the biblical text itself does not explicitly define the earth's age. It gives careful attention to the language and structure of Genesis, including the possibility that early chapters reflect preserved eyewitness records or ancient "tablets." A distinctive feature of this work is its integration of biblical exegesis with archaeological and geological observations. Topics include fossil evidence, early humanlike beings, and the possibility of pre-Adamic life, all examined in light of the biblical narrative rather than in opposition to it. The study concludes with a detailed chronological reconstruction of biblical history, offering a calculated date for the creation of Adam based on scriptural data correlated with archaeological benchmarks. Written for readers interested in creation, biblical chronology, and the intersection of Scripture with the physical world, this volume presents a thoughtful exploration of how the written Word and the observable world together testify to the origins of mankind.

About the author (2026)

Arthur Bud Chrysler is a graduate of Grace Bible College (now Grace Christian University) in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he earned an Associate of Arts degree with high honors. He has long been engaged in the study of Scripture, with particular interest in biblical chronology and archaeology. In 1984, he participated as a volunteer in the City of David Archaeological Project in Jerusalem, working under the direction of Dr. Yigal Shiloh and alongside leading field supervisors. This hands-on experience helped shape his approach to integrating archaeological evidence with the biblical record. Chrysler has delivered numerous addresses on biblical and archaeological topics in church settings and conferences, especially among Grace-oriented assemblies in the United States. His work emphasizes a careful reading of Scripture alongside material evidence from the ancient world. He is the author of *From Adam to Messiah the Prince: A Biblical Paper Trail*, a study tracing biblical chronology through both Scripture and archaeology. His writing seeks to demonstrate the historical reliability of the biblical record while engaging questions related to creation, early human history, and the interpretation of Genesis. After more than thirty-five years as the owner and operator of Eastown Frame & Gallery in Michigan, Chrysler retired to devote more time to research and writing. He is married, with children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
