The Greek language has a long history: it was used at least 10 centuries before the birth of Christ and is still used today! Greek is considered the language of thinkers and poets. It's the language of the first Olympians and architecture. This book introduces Greek's exciting history plus teaches hundreds of words with entertaining and humorous writing and lots of activities. This foreign language series for kids makes foreign languages easy and fun with educational and entertaining history, trivia, humor, activities, and more. Children who begin learning a language at an early age improve their overall school performance, boost their problem solving skills, and gain a more in-depth understanding of their native language. Kids explore multiple languages with this series (currently 8 titles available), then pursue the ones that interest them the most.

It wasn't quite what I was expecting as it has a lot more English in it and not as much for Greek phrases etc but it is a great introduction to the language if you're trying to decide if your child(ren) is interested enough to learn more of it for a great price! Read full review
