I definitely named this book as the mother of all books in automotive field. It is a great book undoubtedly and i read every page of this book. As i read some other books of power electronics from recent publication i think a revised publication of this book is very necessary.
At first i thought to write a summarized edition of this book but i realized something massive like this book is very necessary. There is no short-cut of success and if one can complete this book thoroughly i think he will get a strong foundation surely !
The amazing thing is there is not a single chapter is written by the Mr. writer !
I bought this at the start of my research work on fuel cell electronics design.
Really well structured book, eventhough pretty big on volume(704 pages !!), I could find what I need from this book just in 1 day. pretty good description on Automotive Power Electronics Converters, and comparision among them.
A must if you are working on automotive power systems.
