This book is very hard to review. There were parts I really enjoyed but a lot of the book really dragged. I feel like there was a lot of things I didn't understand, a lot of underlying messages that weren't very clear. I liked the story about the author & his son. I liked some of his Chautauqua's, but many of them were hard to follow. I can't really recommend it. But what do I know. It was a huge seller & has a cult like following. There is probably something there I just don't happen to see it.

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance was a bizarre read. A philosophical fiction book is not your typical book. I personally found the philosophical argumentations too elaborate, though very fitting with the captivating story that frames and accompanies the philosophical discussion. Read full review

It's a philosophical take on ideas that relate to flow and eastern religions such as Buddhism. I liked the philosophical ideas in the book, but it either needed to be a novel or a short philosophy paper, not a rambling compromise between the two. Read full review
