About the author (2006)

Alun Lewis was one of the generation of writers born in the first two decades of the 20th century who contributed significantly to Welsh literature through the medium of English. He is the author of The Last Inspection, Prepared in India, and Raiders' Dawn and Other Poems, among other works.
