About the author (2001)

Pamela Hastings has written six books on home d cor sewing, including "Simple-to Sew-Slipcovers and Cover-ups" and "Home Decorating Basics". All have been main or alternate selections of Crafter's Choice Book Club. She is a spokesperson for Viking Sewing Machine, Velcro USA, Waverly, and Rowenta. Her sewing career began with ten years in the education department of Singer.

Pamela appears regularly on Decorating with Style and other home shows. Her articles have appeared in Family Circle, Woman's Day, Good Housekeeping, Better Homes and Gardens, and Sewing Savvy. Pamela lives in Wall, New Jersey.
