This biography notes that John Beverley as the son of Robert Beverley and Katherine Hone, however I believe this is incorrect.
John Beverley was born Jan 4 1675 before his mother Mary Beverley died
in 1678. John was born before the marriage of Robert Beverley and Katherine Hone which took place in March 1679. Middlesex, Virginia.
