About the author (2000)

James Dalton is a former national journalist stationed in Washington. During Watergate, he won a fellowship to serve on the staff of a United States Senator. As a journalist, Dalton has covered organized crime, intelligence agencies, and national politics. Under other names, he is the author of numerous critically acclaimed crime novels.
