This book is a wonderful exposition of the doctrine of providence. It contains many precious passages, which should encourage, edify and exhort the Christian reader in meditating upon and praising God for His providential care.
John Flavel loves to write long sentences, with many subordinates clauses, which might make it heavy going for some readers, but he shares spiritual riches and valuable insights into God's ways of working in our lives in Christ. The book is an excellent five star classic of Puritan literature.
