About the author (2004)

David Jolliffe dreamt, like many boys, of becoming a world motor racing champion. Instead, after playing a key role with an F1 team, he sold sports cars before distributing Lamborghinis in Britain (which vied with Germany as the No. 2 market after the USA) for 30 years. He remains close friends with many people who were key players in the fortunes of Lamborghini over the decades.

The author is just the man for the job. Tony Willard has edited the trade newspaper for the car retail industry for many years and knows how the various types of retailers try to come out on top in the bazaar culture that is the car price negotiation in the UK. This book gives the consumer the information needed to negotiate on level terms.
