Kathleen Long Bostrom is the author of dozens of books for children and adults. An ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), Bostrom is currently co-Pastor of Wildwood Presbyterian Church in Grayslake, Illinois.

Kucharik, well-known Care Bears artist, has been a freelance illustrator for the past twenty-five years. For the last eight years she has focused her talents in the area of children's book illustration.
