Behaviour Change communication is the flavour now.If a government programme does not take off, either blame it on poor communication or suggest BCC.Some how BCC and Behavioural Economic theories have not converged.Nudge by Sunstein shows the way to combine the two.In India teh federal government thinks that if it desings a scheme and incentives it with cash, people would access it.In the area of health and sanitation this has not worked. I strongly recommend this book to communication trainers and social sector communicators.Narendra

‘Libertarian paternalism’ represents a retreat from political debate, and the rise of a base psychological agenda that wants to make us conform on green
, health and lifestyle issues.
