About the author (2010)

Steve Dillon was born in London, England on March 22, 1962. At the age of 16, he started working in comics for Marvel UK, the British imprint of Marvel Comics. He was a comic-book artist best known for Preacher, Hellblazer, and the character Judge Dredd. Preacher won a Will Eisner Comic Industry Award for best continuing series in 1999. Dillon died from a ruptured appendix on October 22, 2016 at the age of 54.
