About the author (1998)

Margaret Carney is an avid naturalist whose picture books include Where Does a Tiger-Heron Spend the Night? and At Grandpa's Sugar Bush. She lives in southern Ontario.

Zakin is a respected teacher, potter, and writer. He maintains a studio and teaches at the State University of New York at Oswego.
