A great book for those who know a lot of science and are looking for widely-touted scientific "certainties" to be questioning. My favorite parts are "technical glossary"(humor about what scientists can really mean when they say something), and Herbert Dingle's "The Observation Of Line Events," which at first blush looks nigh-incomprehensible, but his big question is really rather simple--picture light-waves like a "squeeze-box," compressed in blue shift, let out in red shift--do the "frets" compress & expand simultaneously? If so, a Doppler-effect-based method may be possible for sending messages between solar systems instantaneously.
