If a Hindoo discovers or invents anything,he keeps it a secret and benefits from it as much as he can. When he dies,it dies with him:but if an englishman makes a discovery,he publishes it and the world gets the benefit.
Is this an insightful observation or an over-genaralisation?
Hindoos are not in the news for making discoveries as much as those in the West, but now the distinction is blurring, with much of the IT sector advances having Hindoos as members in such teams...
This may be an old cultural trait or the secrets may be professional and trade sectrets'in such cases, are the secrets published by even the Westerners?
This whole issue need comprehensive research. If this is true then lots of valuable secrets are being lost to humanity.
