An Excerpt from the Book Tee: Grandpa, Does God love us more than he loves the people in Louisiana? Grandpa: I don't think so. Why, Tee? Tee: Well, we thought that nasty storm was going to hit us in Harmony, but it skipped right on by and hit Louisiana really hard. Does that mean God likes us but doesn't like Louisiana? Are we better people than they are or what? See, I have some friends back in Louisiana and if God doesn't love them there maybe they should all move to Harmony! Grandpa: I suppose there are places which are good or evil. Our Bible talks about some evil cities, but I don't think God hit Louisiana with a storm because it's an evil place. The Bible also tells us that rain falls on the just and the unjust. TEE: It really fell this time! Those folks needed an ark! It just rained and flooded everything. Now the water is full of germs, the crops are ruined, cattle have drowned, and homes are full of mud. Why, it's even worse than the storm we had in Harmony, back last year. Grandpa: It sure is, Tee. We are already recovering. It'll be years before parts of Louisiana recover. It's really a sad thing! But lots of times the sadd
