I was not pulled into this tale because I saw immediately who the "culprit" was and the drawing of characters was not appealing to me within the framework of too many words of explanation at every turn. This book sounds like it should be very good but is so slow, even after 50 pages it barely picked up. In my opinion the author dropped the ball. Perhaps I'll try it again sometime and see if I find it more interesting. Read full review
