About the author (2000)

Robert Picarello is the author of the New York Times bestseller Rulers of the Ring. He has been a professional sports journalist for over ten years, editing and writing for such prestigious publications as Wrestling World, Baseball Illustrated, Hockey Illustrated, Basketball Illustrated, Football Illustrated, and Yankees Magazine. He graduated from St. John's University in 1989 with a B.S. in Journalism. Picarello currently works as an associate producer for the National Hockey League's official Web site, NHL.com, and resides in Brooklyn, New York.
