Good enough, as far as it goes. What this great artist needs is someone who knows who he truly was, and what art truly is. A pop bio is all we have, but there'll come a day when he'll get his biographer. Make it soon. Read full review

Vivian was a dayglo colorful weirdo beardo and I wish the book had captured this a little better. But, instead, it's written as a pretty dry & straight music bio. Still an interesting read, but could have been better. Check out the pixx! Read full review
