About the author (2000)

Jane A. Sassaman is a quilt artist and teacher whose work has won numerous awards. In 1999, her quilt Willow was named to the list of "The 20th Century's 100 Best American Quilts." Her quilts have been featured in many publications, including Threads, FiberArts, and American Craft, as well as in the book Women of Taste. Jane lives in Chicago, Illinois.
