This unique Lenten resource highlights the "I Am" sayings of Jesus from the Gospel of John. Targeting laypersons in congregations who desire a practical resource based on sound biblical exegesis that is easy to understand, Bread of Life will challenge, inspire, inform, and enrich the faith of those who use it.

Each unit provides an overview of the context, original meaning, and audience, as well as word studies, questions, and a short meditation or prayer. A concluding chapter shows how this resource can be used for preaching and teaching in congregations.
