About the author (2005)

Bette Nordberg graduated from the University of Washington as a physical therapist in 1977. In 1990, she turned from rehabilitation medicine to writing. Her first book, Evangeline, Woman of Faith (the biography of Evangeline McNeill), was published in 1996. Married twenty-five years, Bette and her husband, Kim, have four children.
