Editorial Review - Bookreporter.com

A classic, but a very strange book. I realize that this classic set the stage for many, many things which came later. But I felt that it was rather random, wandered, and lacked clarity. Read full review

science fiction
there are no light sabers or intergalactic warlords. this is based in reality. most if the tech in this now real or will be in the next century. if you want laser battles this book isn't for you.

Great
I didn't get around to reading this book until 1998 and though it was great. My first experience with Neuromancer was playing the videogame ten years earlier back in 1988. Playing the game first
made reading the book much easier since it provided a hands-on context to the technical details the book goes into. Great book (great game too.) But I'm hard pressed to spend $8 for an Andriod version when I already own a copy of the book in physical print form.

Great read
One of the founding books of Cyberpunk.

Nearly thirty years since Gibson's, Neuromancer, was first published, we are now only beginning to faintly understand the repercussions of his vision for our future. Neuromancer is must reading for everyone to understand more fully the past, present, and future of both human and nonhuman life.

Liked this book. Like Bladerunner meets the matrix . Dark and hard to catch up whit what is happening because you do not get the background information. It's like starting on book number two of a series. But it draws you.

A true classic of the genre and way ahead of it's time.
