A beautifully written and intelligent account of what it was like to live inside the ashram of one of the most controversial mystics of the modern age. Satya Bharti shares the intensity and the comedy, as well as the moments learning to dive deep inside her being while she witnesses the noise and rush and chaos of the world around her without disturbance.
There's love, there's conflict and of course there's death – celebrated, not with long faces and solemn rites, but with dancing and gratitude for a life wholly lived.
For anyone who wishes to understand what drew thousands to sit at the feet of this maverick master so long ago, this books tells it all.
