About the author (2006)

Susan Heyboer O'Keefe is the author of several books for children. A copy editor at a publishing house, she lives in northern New Jersey with her husband, her son and her two parrots.

Robin Spowarthas illustrated many children's books, including many by his wife, Jeanne Modesitt. He illustrates greeting cards and lives in New Mexico.
