Rheumatic fever came at an early age and took several of his cousins and caused him to be confined to bed for many months while recovering. This confinment and curtailment caused Jack to develop his artistic talent in a more acute way. While always being a jokester, he has had a funny way of telling a yarn and he hopes you enjoy reading about some of the funny things that happened to him on the way to the forum.

About the author (2009)

The author, Jack Hucks, is a well known bronze sculptor of some renown and has studied under the tutelage of famed Cowboy Artists of America's Grant Speed. This book is Jack first attempt at writing and he treats it like a biography but in an amusing manner that will tickle your funny bone, or some of his stories may make you cry. He grew up during the depression years on the farm in the south when times were hard and then he became faced with a very serious health problem that gave him cause to seek God's guidance.
