My mother often spoke of this book and its being available at the New York Public Library. It wasn't until I was in my late 20s (over 30 years ago) that I went and examined it. In my memory I was certain it was a one volume work. However, just two years ago I happened to be in Boston and I spent an afternoon at the NE Genealogical Society and found, indeed, that it is a two volume collection. My mother, born in 1924, was not included, while her oldest brother, born in 1913 (dec. 2010) was one of the last entries.
As noted before. There were two volumes to this book, part 1 and part 2. This is only part 1. It ends on page 594. Part 2 contains the additions and corrections.
