Short story (or maybe novelette) versions of several actual Star Trek episodes is pretty enjoyable, but not as much as watching the real things. Sort of wonder how Blish, a pretty noted science fiction writer, ended up doing this (and several follow-on volumes). I guess it paid well. Read full review

This is so exciting for me! I grew up with the original Star Trek show, watching every week, worrying about what they would get into next. This new crew does a wonderful job of reinterpreting the original one. Love it, love it, love it! Read full review
