This is the story of two women who raise three adopted children; an asian little boy, a red headed girl and an African American girl. The African American daughter is the narrator and the book talks about how normal their family is despite the fact that they are considered a "non-traditional" family. Most of the illustrations in the book portrey a happy and loving family and shows that people can be accepting and embrace differences.

This book is about a few young children to talk about what it is like to live with two moms. As a young child it can be difficult to be living in a home where it is te "typical" home. This book will show children that they are not the only ones who live with two moms.
