About the author (2009)

Peter Ramig is Professor and Associate Chair in the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences at the University of Colorado in Boulder, where he teaches and specializes in stuttering issues in children, teens, and adults. He is also a member, fellow, and board-recognized fluency specialist of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. The majority of Dr. Ramig's professional writings and publications pertain to treatment and efficacy issues related to intervention with persons who stutter. As a working therapist and recognized authority on stuttering, he annually presents many workshops and seminars focused on specific treatment strategies for working with children, teens, and adults who stutter.
