This is the best book for anyone who is totally gaga for 2001: A Space Odyssey. It's really compilation of press materials preceding and following the release of the film. Including letters from fans to Stanley Kubrick, the Arthur C. Clarke short story that inspired Kubrick to make the film and a great bit about a composer who breaks his neck writing and original score to the film that obviously wasn't used. Kubrick gets real heavy on science and aliens in an interview at the end. A total treat to anyone who freakin' loves 2001.
