Hold Tight confirms Christopher Bram's status as one of the outstanding gay novelists of our time. Erotic, romantic, and suspenseful, this wholly original story is a thriller set in a homosexual brothel in 1942 New York City.

No classic, but an interesting exploration of what things were like in NYC during WW2 for gay folk. Some of the characterizations are rather wooden or sterotyped. Steamy sex saves the day. Read full review

A refreshing plot and change of pace for a gay themed novel.... at least it was through the mid-point of reading. The story seemed to have lost its uniqueness as I read on and the ending became quite predictable. A not so bad but still mediocre (IMO) second novel from Christopher Bram. Read full review
