Andre Kirk Agassi was born on April 29, 1970. He is a retired American professional tennis player and former World No. 1. He is generally considered by critics and fellow players to be one of the greatest tennis players of all time. Agassi has been called the "Best service returner in the history of the game." Agassi turned professional at the age of 16 and his first tournament was in La Quinta, California. He has earned more than $30 million in prize-money during his career, which spanned from 1986 to 2006. He also earned more than $25 million a year through endorsements during his career. His first wife was American model and actress, Brooke Shields. They divorced in 1999. In 2001 he married Stefanie (Steffi) Graph, the the only tennis player to have won the Golden Slam Grand Slam singles tournaments (Wimbledon, the US Open, the French Open, the Australian Open and the Summer Olympic Gold) in 1988. They have two children.
