This book gutted me.
The description of how much a man is willing to endure simply to stay alive is harrowing. There is the torture of a life remembered in the midst of his total isolation, his
mental and physical nakedness beneath the endless sky and his never sated hunger.
And for what?
Read the book.

User Review  - Goodreads

Beautiful, although very dense, read. Trigger warning for rape. Ending gave me chills even though I expected it somewhat. Read full review
