"It was a freezing, sneezing, goose-bumpy, teeth-chattering, can't-get-out-of-bed, blankets-over-my-head kind of cold.""For a boy with a warm heart and a big imagination, a cold winter day is an exciting adventure. In How Cold Was It? "boisterous prose alternates with playful rhyming sequences as the author takes us on a journey at well below freezing temperatures. It's enough to make you shiver!
