I have the deck and the book that comes with it, and since I was just a beginner it did teach me more than I knew about tarot but not as much as I had hoped and thought it would. I t doesn't go in much detail on the meanings of the cards and I actually have to go to a friend a lot of times to get a better interpretation of what it was telling me. Also, they don't give that good an explination of the card spreads as I would like. All in all I give it maybe a 7.5
