About the author (1997)

Lars Oxelheim is Professor of International Business at the Institute of Economic Research, Lund University. He is also Senior Researcher at the Institute for Industrial Economics (IUI) in Stockholm.

Clas Wihlborg is Professor of Banking and Financial Economics at the Göteborg School of Economics and Commercial Law. Their previous publications include Macroeconomic Uncertainty: International Risks and Opportunities for the Corporation, (Wiley, 1987), in which they opened up a new strand of literature emphasizing the impact of a volatile macroeconomic environment on corporate performance and risk exposure.
