About the author (2011)

J. David Spurlock is a well-regarded authority in the comics industry. He has worked with legendary artists such as Neal Adams, Carmine Infantino, and Jim Steranko. He is the publisher of Vanguard Productions; has worked for Disney, Sony, MTV, and DC Comics; and has taught at the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art, and the School of Visual Arts in NYC.
 
Rob Zombie is a musician, writer, and filmmaker. He first gained acclaim as the frontman for the Grammy-nominated heavy metal band White Zombie. Zombie wrote and directed the horror film hits House of 1,000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects, as well as directed a reimagining of the 1978 classic, Halloween.
