About the author (2001)

Pam Grout is the author of Art and Soul and Jumpstart Your Metabolism. A nationally known freelance writer, Grout has written for the Washington Post, Outside, Travel & Leisure, and Family Circle. A regular stringer for People magazine, she also has an award-winning syndicated travel column called "Now, Where Was I?" Her books have been featured in Family Circle, Self, Woman's World, First for Women, Mademoiselle, and Aspire magazines. She lives with her daughter in Lawrence, Kansas.
